Google browser 4.0

I could be horribly mistaken but I was noticing that google 4.0 came up as one of the browsers in my Site Meter Stats. Google 4.0 has a IP address of 64.210.196.#. Without know the last number I'm not sure if that helps me any. With all of the hype about there possibly being a Gbrowser I might be misinterpreting this, but could this be someone testing it out? Or is this just a googlebot? I didn't think that the googlebot had gotten to 4.0 yet, but somebody has to know something here!??

from what I gather this was one of the girafa bots. girafa along with ICQ offers a pretty cool little service. They offer a thumbnail screen shot of search results for google. So I think my site got crawled by them (they took a screen shot of my site. Why this came up as google 4.0 I have no idea. There is also a firefox extention that does the same type of thing that I use alot. Interesting stuff.

One more think of interest. I'm not sure if sitemeter just didn't read it right(probablly), but if my theory of being crawled is correct, then is should have show up as girafabot from everything I've read
