Gay as folks

Some people are really afraid of gay people. They avoid them like the plague. Is it because they think they're all crazy sex freaks, or because they don't want to deal with somebody that messed up? Or maybe they think that the person will start hitting on them and they won't know what to do? Regardless, gay people don't bother me that much. I mean I know acting on gay impulses is wrong, but so is acting on non-marital heterosexual relationships, so I don't see them as that much different. I know gay people are often different, but are you afraid of everybody that's different than you? I used to work for a gay manager at one of my previous jobs and she was nice enough. And I read a blog from this guy that's going to school in London (londonDan) who happens to be gay. My point is that they are people too, we shouldn't be afraid of them, or run and hide when they come near. We should reach out to them, and do it in a gentle manner.

So this took me a while to figure out how to comment on your site. But I think I got it now...maybe. I just wanted to say that I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures from our ice storm in Chattanooga. It was an amazing storm I might add. Thanks.

Yap I'd say you figured it out. I guess you thought it was a xanga site for a moment. You can also comment in my shoutBox on the left side bar if you scrol down far enough (maybe I'll move it closer to the top...hmmm).
